Work on remodelling the MA-7404 between Almargen and Cañete la Real is complete, although some supplemental work, such as installing various safety barriers, has still to be carried out.
The work on the seven kilometre stretch of road linking the two towns has cost €815,885.63 and was financed by the Málaga Provincial Council.
The road has been strengthened, widened and re-surfaced.
