Torrox Council is set to receive an additional €194,000 under the Second Plan Proteja, the award based on unemployment levels in the various municipalities in Andalucia.
Torrox is already set to receive €328,000 under the plan.
The PSOE are suggesting using the money for work on the N-340, the Sports Complex at La Granja and the access roundabout to the highway.
