The Feria de Santiago y Santa Ana takes place in Torre del Mar from July 22nd to July 26th and, as a result of yet more budget cuts, there will be no famous artists or musical groups appearing at this year’s event.
The budget for the feria has been reduced by 60% since 2008, this year’s event having an allocation of €164,000. At the day fair, held on the Paseo de Larios from July 23rd to 26th, the musical group normally on site to liven up proceedings has been replaced by ambient music as part of the cuts.
