The Industrial Production Index in Andalucia fell by 3.6% in June 2010 when compared to June 2009, and for the first six months of 2010 the decline was 6% when compared to the same period last year.
The cumulative annual growth rate of production showed an increase of 6.9% in consumer goods, but decreases of 11% in intermediate goods, 12% in energy and 14.4% in equipment.
By industry, the first six months of the year show a gross increase of 15.7% for mining and quarrying” and declines of 6.1% for manufacturing and 10.7% for the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning.
