The authorities intercepted a small boat early this morning with 25 illegal immigrants on board.
The boat was spotted at around 04:30 this morning by the SIVE surveillance unit about two miles east of Mojácar and a patrol boat and Marine Rescue vessel were sent to intercept.
The passengers were all male and in apparent good health and have been taken to the Port of Almeria in preparation for repatriation.
