Police break up male prostitution network

For the first time in Spain, police have broken up a network involved in the sexual exploitation of men brought in from Brazil for the purpose of prostitution.

Fourteen people have so far been arrested in Palma de Mallorca, Madrid, Barcelona, Alicante and León.

The boys were ‘captured’ in Brazil and provided with a travel bag and an irline tickets purchased with cloned credit cards. Once in Spain, they were supplied with viagra and cocaine and put to work twenty-four hours a day.

Clients were attracted via advertisements in the contact sections of newspapers and websites with photos of the boys often available.
