Police break up counterfeit goods network

The Guardia Civil has dismantled a network in Huelva and Sevilla dedicated to the sale and distribution of counterfeit goods, confiscating 24,800 items valued at more than €974,000.

Seven people have been arrested and 7,400 pairs of sunglasses, 16,688 bottles of perfume, 740 wallets and 30 belts, all (imitation) leading brands, were seized.

Three premises on the Polígono El Rincón, avenida de las Fuerzas Armadas and two in calle José  Fariñas, Huelva province, and one on the polígono Store in Sevilla were raided.

The detainees are 2 Moroccans, 4 Chinese and 1 Spaniard and all have been charged with various commercial irregularities.
