Frigiliana Council and Editorial Almuzara have signed an agreement to create the Premio Internacional de Estudios Moriscos y Andalusíes, an award worth €3,000 for works on themes relating to the Al-Andalus period of history.
This period of history is little documented and there are very few publications and studies available, a situation which this award seeks to address.
The works can be about history, music or more tangible aspects of the Al-Andalus period.
