A Guardia Civil officer died on Sunday evening in a hit and run incident on the A-92 north of Baza, Granada province.
The officer was on duty and was requesting a vehicle to stop. The vehicle didn’t stop and the officer was killed, the vehicle driver fleeing the scene.
The vehicle was later found abandoned. One theory is that the vehicle was involved in the trafficking of drugs and therefore did not stop when requested to do so.
