Avenida de Las Margaritas in Las Lagunas, Mijas, is back to normal again, one of the lanes having been closed due to the construction of the new Town Hall in the Cortijo de Doña Ermita area.
The works affected the section between the camino del Albero and Río de las Pasadas.
The €800,000 project, financed under the First State Municipal Investment Plan, has also involved the installation of new drinking water, electricity, telecommunications and lighting networks as well as the introduction of new waste collection areas, landscaping of the area and the removal and replanting elsewhere of the ficus trees that were causing damage to pavements.
