Sierra Nevada ski resort open again

The Sierra Nevada ski resort in Granada finally opened again after three days being closed due to high winds.

There were 43.6 kilometres of pistes open on Friday in the Veleta and Laguna areas with the snow being hard. All being well, this weekend should see 50 kilometres of runs open in the Laguna, Veleta, Borreguiles, Río (partial) and Loma Dílar areas.

Predicted lower temperatures as from Monday should see the lower slopes in better condition.
