The 4,000 inhabitants of Lopera, Jaén province, have been without water since last Tuesday when a water pipe between Lopera and neighbouring Porcuna broke.
The pipe was repaired on Thursday, but then broke again. As from Friday, water was being supplied to the town by means of tankers.
Repairs are expected to take three or four days according to the Mayor, Isabel Uceda.
