A small tornado swept through Torrox yesterday, entering at Ferrara in Torrox Costa and exiting at La Rabitilla in Torrox pueblo.
The tornado only lasted about ten minutes but it did manage to uproot a fair number of the fixed beach umbrellas, dislodge half a dozen billboards from roofs and on the streets and uproot several trees.
The Council is busy assessing the damage. No-one was injured during the phenomenon.
