The unpleasant odours given off by the residual water pumping station in La Cala del Moral, Rincón de la Victoria, should be a thing of the past following the completion of a €89,900 project to improve the facilities.
The pumping station, located on calle Adolfo Gálvez Toro at the junction with the paseo marítimo Blas Infante, was an acknowledged ‘Whiffy Hotspot’ but the various improvements, carried out under the State Fund for Employment and Local Sustainability (FEESL), should solve the problem.
The improvements should, at the same time, increase the life expectancy of the pumping station.
