A police raid on a garage in a residential area of Fuengirola, Málaga province, has led to the arrest of one man and the seizure of firearms and ammunition amongst other things.
The detainee was the subject of an arrest warrant issued by the French authorities relating to drugs trafficking offences in Marseille.
In the garage police found and confiscated several guns equipped with silencers, two submachine guns, 500 rounds of ammunition, material for counterfeiting documents, a luxury vehicle and a large cc motorbike. Both the vehicles had been reported stolen.
