Five people have so far been arrested, three in Ceuta, one in Málaga and one in Algeciras, in connection with drugs and arms trafficking. Some of those arrested are implicated in various shootings and further detentions are expected in the next few hours.
Weapons cache in Fuengirola
A police raid on a garage in a residential area of Fuengirola, Málaga province, has led to the arrest of one man and the seizure of firearms and ammunition amongst other things.
Illegal arms haul in Utrera
Police in Utrera have arrested a 67 year old man who was in possession of a number of illegal weapons, including machine guns, a mortar and an anti-aircraft projectile.
