Guardia Civil and Local Police officers in Cartagena are searching for the husband of a Cuban woman whose body was found at her home in calle Isaac Peral in Los Belones on Wednesday.
At around 14:00 on Wednesday afternoon, the victim’s daughter, aged nine years, returned home from school to find the body of her mother lying on the floor. A neighbour then alerted the Emergency Services, although there was nothing they could do to save the life of the woman.
The woman had been stabbed in the abdomen. Police are now trying to locate the husband, a Spanish national.
