A primary school teacher in Sevilla has accepted a two year jail sentence for the possession of child pornography.
The accused, J.M.N.C., a teacher at the colegio público Mairena in Aljarafe, Sevilla, was found to have files of downloaded pornographic material on his computer, much of the material featuring violent sexual abuse of minors.
The accused also had a number of DVD’s containing child pornography.
The prosecution was originally requesting a sentence of five and a half years imprisonment, but reduced the request to two years on the grounds that the accused did no actual harm to minors.
