Carnival in Antequera is on March 5th, with events starting at 12:00 with a children’s party and fancy dress competition at the Paseo Real.
At 17:00 it is the Encuentro de Coplillas in the Teatro Torcal and at 20:30 is the procession. The procession finishes in Plaza de San Francisco, at which time there will be the fancy dress contest for adults and the traditional ‘Quema del Mollete’ – burning of the muffin.
