The Málaga Department of Coasts is drafting a project which will join up the promenades in Torrox and complete any unfinished sections, such as between Los Llanos and El Morche.
The project is expected to be approved by Easter. The project was announced following a meeting between the Councillor for Beaches, José Pérez (PSA), and Francisco Hermoso of the Department of Coasts.
At the same meeting, José Pérez raised concerns about interventions by the Department of Coasts at El Peñoncillo beach, notably the removal of a parking area and a petanca court, both of which formed part of the Beach Plan approved by the Council.
