The old Town Hall in Periana has been transformed into the Cultural Centre Generación del 27, with the Deputy Cultural Minister Dolores Fernández attending the official inauguration.
The project, which included renovations to plaza de Rafael Alberti, cost €290,000. The new centre has five rooms, four of which will be used by local associations as well as being rehearsal rooms for the Banda de Música, Panda de Verdiales, various dance groups and the Camino de Olivares choir.
