A diver died late on Saturday afternoon near Cabo de Trafalgar while underwater fishing with a group of friends.
The group were about 15 miles from Barbate when one of the group, Raul L, apparently surfaced in an unconscious state. His companions, unable to revive him, alerted the authorities and Raul L was airlifted by a helicopter belonging to the Maritime Rescue Service.
Unfortunately, medics were also unable to revive him.
