Faraján has the first residential nursing home for the elderly in the Valle de Genal after the official inauguration of the new facility on Saturday.
The building was inaugurated by the Director General for the Elderly from the Junta de Andalucia, María José Castro.
There are five floors with a capacity for 29 people, 14 of them being private. The project cost €2 million and was financed by the regional, provincial and municipal authorities.
