Car sales in March fell for the ninth consecutive month and are now at a level compared with 1993.
There were 88,396 units sold in March 2011, a drop of 29.1% compared to 2010 according to the Association of Manufacturers (ANFAC) and the Association of Sellers (GANVAM).
Similarly, the first three months of 2011 show a decrease in sales of 27.3% when compared to last year, with 208,151 units sold.
