Workers at the bus company Urbanos Amarillos in Jerez de la Frontera will meet today to discuss whether to extend their strike indefinitely. The current industrial action is set to continue until April 15th.
Two sessions of talks will be taking place today and if the strike action is extended it would affect the Feria del Caballo – Horse Fair.
The workers are demanding payment of outstanding wages both from the current concessionaire Urbanos Amarillos and the former concessionaire Cojetusa, the latter having entered into bankruptcy late last year.
Urbanos Amarillos are currently operating a minimum service in Jerez of one bus per route.
