In Vélez-Málaga, the Guild of Brotherhoods will this year use a series of mobile devices with GPS capability during Semana Santa to track compliance with procession schedules and the progress of the various processions.
Once the data has been analysed, the idea is to introduce any necessary adjustments to schedules etc for next year and to offer the opportunity for people to track the various processions in real-time via the Guild website.
