Police in Málaga have recovered 500,000 items of lingerie, valued at €200,000, stolen from a warehouse in Alhaurin el Grande last Monday and two people have been detained.
The lingerie, mainly panties and thongs, were stolen from the Internacional Lencera (Interlen) warehouse on the Málaga road in Alhaurin El Grande. The company ceased trading several years ago but kept a large stock of lingerie in their warehouse. On Monday, thieves broke in and stole the lot.
The items were recovered in two buildings, one in Málaga and one in Mijas, where they had been transported by trailer. Police detained two men, one as the perpetrator of the theft and the other for receiving stolen goods.
