The canon which many of you may have noticed rusting away on Calahonda beach over the years has now found a new home.
A base has been made for the cannon and it has been installed at the Mirador del Bendito (overlooking playa Carabeillo) and the Council hope that it will become a much photographed attraction.
There are quite a few canons scattered along the coast in Nerja, some buried, and it is hoped that more of these can be recovered, restored and put on display.
