Málaga Provincial Council is funding a number of renovation projects in the town of Periana with the funds coming from the Plan de Concertación 2010 and 2011.
The total value of the works is €557,243, with €322,243 from the 2010 Plan and €235,000 from 2011.
Calle Echegaray is being upgraded, with new pipes and paving, and once that is finished, work will begin in calle Carrascal. These two projects are costing a total of €57,696.
The central square is to be renovated at a cost of €50,000 and extensive works costing €129,547 are to be carried out in calle Alta Axarquía, including demolitions, new piping and asphalting.
