Three youths from Pizarra, aged between 19 and 22 years, have been remanded in custody on charges of raping a woman on two separate occasions in April.
The first incident occurred in the middle of April when the three youths accosted the woman in the doorway of her caravan and forced their way inside. Once inside, the three youths allegedly raped the woman.
The second incident took place on April 25th and after this second attack the woman lodged a complaint with the police,stating that the reason she did not report the first rape was because the youths had threatened to kill her.
The three youths were located and arrested and are now being held behind bars.
