Four killed after two light aircraft collide

Guardia Civil officers have located the mortal remains of four people killed on Monday after two light aircraft collided near Asturias airport.

The two aircraft, a Cessna Skyline 182 T and a Cirrus SR-22, were en route from San Sebastian to Portugal when the collision occurred. One of the aircraft came down near the airport parking area, the other crashed in the Monte de Bayas eucalyptus grove in Castrillón.

The crash is the most serious accident of this type in Spain for five years.
