In the absence of any response to numerous requests to the provincial and regional authorities to repair the track leading up to El Pinarillo, the Council has decided to undertake repairs to the worst affected parts.
The track is in poor condition due to weather damage over the years. The track will be closed until October 15th as usual due to the risk of fire in the area, and the Council will take advantage of this period of closure to effect repairs.
The barbecues at El Pinarillo will also be sealed during the summer as part of the fire precautions.
