The European Investment Bank has granted a loan of €200 million to Andalucia to help finance an environmental management project designed to improve, protect and preserve the natural areas of the region.
The project includes investments in infrastructure and public facilities and the environment, management and recovery of livestock trails, protection and restoration of ecosystems and degraded areas, conservation of flora and fauna, prevention of erosion and desertification for the period between 2010 and 2014.
