Young local swimmer Lourdes María Herrero Centurión of the Nerja Sports Club picked up two gold medals at the recent II Trofeo Tomás García Zamudio held at the Centro Acuático in Málaga.
The competition is considered one of the most important in Andalucia for young swimmers.
Lourdes María Herrero Centurión won gold in the 50 metres freestyle in a time of 38″48 and in the 50 metres breast stroke with a time of 48″03.
