The Municipal Cleaning Department is intensifying its efforts to remove various items of furniture and other, large household appliances left out on the streets by people too lazy to call 900878798 to arrange collection.
There are already extra collections of non-organic waste in various parts of the town as the Council tries to make the place neat and tidy for the summer visitors – would be nice if it was kept as neat and tidy all year round for the permanent residents, but you can’t win them all.
