A 33 year old man was rescued at Playa de Maro on Sunday afternoon after breaking his femur whilst water skiing.
The man had been water skiing from playa de Cantarriján. At 15:40, the Emergency Services received a call that he was in trouble and unable to get out of the water due to the pain from his injury.
Her was rescued at 16:07 by members of the Guardia Civil and Marine Rescue service and transferred to hospital in Vélez-Málaga.
