Guardia Civil officers in Huelva have arrested 31 year old E.R.A., a resident of Cartaya, in connection with the theft of 800 kilos of copper cable.
The investigation began on July 19th after it was reported that 800 kilos of copper cable had been stolen, leaving part of Cartaya and the coastal village of Nuevo Portil without lighting.
The cost of the damage caused by the theft is estimated at €30,000.
