An autopsy carried out on Friday on the body of a 45 year old woman found at her home in urbanisation Mansión Alhamar in Calahonda, Mijas, shows that she died a violent death from stab wounds.
The body of the woman, who had injuries all over her body, was found by her son at around 16:45 on Thursday.
Police are investigating the circumstances of the death but no details have yet been released.
