A 37 year old British man, Paul Newman, died in the early hours of Saturday morning after falling from the sixth floor of the Royal Beach Hotel in Magaluf on the south-west coast of Mallorca.
It is reported that Paul Newman, who was staying in a room on the fourth floor, returned to the hotel with a group of friends at about 5am after a night out. It seems that the group missed their floor and continued on up to the sixth floor. Leaning over a railing overlooking the interior of the hotel to try to see where their room was located, the man overbalanced and fell. He was killed instantly.
