An 18 year old youth was taken to hospital on Saturday night suffering from smoke inhalation after he tried to extinguish a fire at his home in Monda, Málaga province.
The fire occurred at 23:30 at an isolated house on the A-355 and is believed to have started in the kitchen.
The injured man was taken to the Hospital Costa del Sol in Marbella. Firemen extinguished the blaze and also rescued a dog trapped in the building.
