A new rubbish collection lorry has joined the fleet belonging to Nerja Limpia, making a total of five lorries operating in the municipality.
The new vehicle has a capacity of 23 cubic metres, is a rear loader and contains a number of safety features to prevent accidents, such as a photocell to shut the machine down if an operator breaches the security zone and a rear mounted TV camera.
The new vehicle cost €167,300 and was supplied by the company Ros Roca.
