A forestry worker in Casarabonela had to be airlifted to hospital following an accident in which the large tree he was cutting with a chainsaw fell on top of him.
The man, aged 33 years, was working on clearing a remote area in La Robla which had suffered fire damage a few years ago. He is now in hospital suffering from a broken ankle and multiple contusions to the ribs and abdomen.
