Registrations of passenger cars in September fell by 1.3% compared to the same month last year according to the Automobile Manufacturers Association (Anfac) and Sellers Association (Ganvam).
There were 55,572 units registered in September 2011 compared to 56,282 in 2010. During the first nine months of 2011 there have been 623,926 new car registrations, a drop of 20.7% compared to 2010.
