Two boats intercepted off the coast of Andalucia on Sunday

Two boats carrying a total of 54 illegal immigrants have been intercepted off the coast of Andalucia on Sunday, one with 24 passengers and the other with 30 people on board.

The first small boat was intercepted off Motril with 24 people on board, all adult males and in apparent good health. There were 21 North Africans and three Sub-Saharans.

The second boat was intercepted 7.5 miles southeast of Adra, Almeria province. On board were 30 adult males of North African origin.
