Police in Mijas have detained one of the UK’s most wanted paedophiles, Dominic Stephen Powell.
Powell, aged 48 years, is wanted by the South Wales Police for failing to report trips abroad after serving 16 weeks in prison and being placed on the sex offenders list and being noted as ‘potentially dangerous’.
Powell is also being sought for trial on charges of child sexual assault, attempted rape, making pornographic pictures of minors and various other offences.
His arrest came on the day that Crimestoppers published a list of the UK’s most wanted fugitives.
