A fire originating in the parking area of a building in the Parques district of Ceuta resulted in 320 families in the area being evacuated as a precautionary measure.
Police went from door to door warning people about the fire which appears to have started in the electrical system of the parking area. The blaze also damaged the sanitation system in the building.
A number of vehicles were burned during the fire but the true extent of the damage is not yet known.
