On December 28th there is a Christmas Baking Contest (sweets, pastries and cakes) being held at the municipal centre in calle Cristo from 17:00, although participants should be there thirty minutes beforehand.
The competition is open to anyone over 14 years and each participant can use whatever ingredients they see fit. The completed dishes will be displayed with a list of the ingredients used and a jury will decide the winning entries.
First prize is €100, second prize €75 and third prize is €30. Once the prizes have been awarded, the public will then be able to sample the dishes.
Anyone wishing to take part needs to register in advance and this can be done by calling 952 52 01 90 or 952 52 69 96 or by going in person to calle Cristo number 14.
