A hunter had to be rescued by helicopter on Sunday after he fell into a ravine in the Sierra de los Filabres in Almería and fractured his leg.
At around 14:35 on Sunday afternoon, the Emergency Services received a call from the man to say he had broken his leg and was stuck in the area known as Paraje de la Fuente. The Guardia Civil and Fire Brigade were alerted but the terrain was very difficult and the injured man had to be evacuated by helicopter.
He was then transferred by ambulance to a local health centre.
