According to Fuengirola Council, the first phase of works in calle Madrid will be completed in the next few days.
This section is between Del Mar and callejón del Matadero. Tarmac is expected to be laid nezt week or the week after.
The whole renovation project is costing around one million euros. The second phase is scheduled to start early in 2012 and involves infrastructure renovation and general aesthetic improvements to the roadway and area.
