The Department of Education in Vélez-Málaga, through the School of Music and Dance, is launching the first symphony orchestra in the municipality. The orchestra will consist off 70 musicians and offer its first special Christmas concert on December 21st from 20:00 in the church of San Andrés in Torre del Mar.
